My Story
Ever since I was six years old, I've had a fascination with anything computer related. I watched intently as the "computer guy" for my dad's business interacted with the computer, making designs in Adobe Illustrator, and tweaking the system for improvements.
While living abroad in Armenia for two years as a Christian volunteer I took a skills aptitude test that rated me highly in Information Technology. Upon returning home, I immediately changed my major to "Information Technology." Class after class was so interesting! I couldn't even believe that this was "school." It just fit. I studied Information Technology on a full ride, four year scholarship at Utah Valley University, and graduated Cum Laude in 2014.
Since then I've tinkered in lots of areas, including:

In 2015, I became much more interested in fitness and nutrition. Inspired by my brother Evan Santo, I raced in a few small sprint triathlons, but nothing major and nothing fast.
My fire for endurance events came in 2016 when I read Primal Endurance by Mark Sisson. Once I started training and eating in the Primal methodology, I saw huge weight loss, ran my first Half Marathon, and finished a Half Ironman event. I'm now on a journey to the original Ironman Kona in Hawaii and a few other bucket list races.
